Seeking legal representation?
Czerwonka Legal is now Czerwonka Educational Consulting. The firm's work is dedicated to legal education — bar exam preparation, MPRE readiness, and student mentorship.
Mr. Czerwonka still accepts an extremely limited number of cases each year that meet one of the following criteria:
- They are proposed by a law school clinic for a potential co-counsel relationship — work that ties directly to the firm's core educational mission;
- They are referred for his evaluation by another attorney, or are handled by a primary attorney who requires New York local counsel;
- They involve the denial of a free appropriate public education (FAPE) under the IDEA, or related special education rights, of a person under the age of 18 years;
- They are asylum cases or other immigration matters in which the disability of the client is a material issue requiring experience at the intersection of disability law and immigration law to adequately address; or
- They present novel issues of law, as assessed by Mr. Czerwonka, with the potential to set precedent.
Even if a case meets one of these criteria, Mr. Czerwonka reserves the right to decline representation for any reason permitted by law.
If you believe your case may qualify, call 845-661-9808 to schedule an intake. Intake is conducted by phone only — please do not send case details by email, web form, or any other written channel before speaking with us.
If your case does not meet these criteria, or if Mr. Czerwonka is unable to accept it, the New York State Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service (nysba.org) or your local county bar association can help you find counsel. Please do not delay seeking representation — legal claims are subject to strict filing deadlines.
Contacting Czerwonka Educational Consulting or Mr. Czerwonka does not create an attorney-client relationship. No attorney-client relationship is formed until a written engagement agreement is signed by both parties.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
